CAPTAIN DOUG LEEN

TUGBOAT KATAHDIN

The tugboat Katahdin (pronounced Kah-Tah-Din: an Indian name for the highest point in the State of Maine) was build in 1899 by Hanson Brothers in Seattle. The "Kat," originally a steam tug, has recently undergone an eight year restoration and is currently moored in Petersburg, Alaska.
